Schaabe Beach — Rügen's Longest Beach
Schaabe is almost 43 kilometres long and is Rügen's longest beach, extending from Wiek to Glowe. The beach is characterised by fine, light sand and shallow water, making it particularly family-friendly. Several beach pavilions offer refreshments and local cuisine. Schaabe is ideal for swimming, beach walks and enjoying nature. In the summer season the beach is lively, but there are also quieter spots. The drive from the house takes about 15 minutes.
Our Bodden Beach — 200 metres from the house
Directly from the house, you reach our private access to the Bodden beach in just a few steps. The Großer Jasmunder Bodden is a shallow, calm body of water with a natural beach and reed shore. The water warms up faster than the Baltic Sea and is therefore suitable for bathing and water sports even outside the bathing season. The Bodden is perfect for swimming, paddling, sailing or simply enjoying the peace of nature. The shallow water makes it ideal for small children. At the Bodden you can make nature observations and watch birds — ideal for nature lovers and photographers.
